Hello, my name is Crystal and I am 37 yrs old. I have just recently signed up for online classes to become a Physical Therapist Asst and have no job at the moment so my schedule is very flexible. I have two children- my daughter is the oldest and is seven and my son is two and a half. Thankfully I have a great support system who is willing to watch my kiddos free of charge so that I can make some money without it all having to go to paying a sitter, lol. I love children of all ages and think it is important for them to stay busy on positive projects as well as having healthy fun too. I love arts and crafts projects especially when the kids love to join in, also cooking and baking as well. I have recently gotten an interest in essential oils and all of their amazing benefits and am now trying my hand at making homemade soaps using the oils along with dried herbs and florals. This is another thing kids love to join in on! I will also help with homework if needed.

I am a Sunday school teacher at my church in the 5-7 year old class and also volunteer in the nursery which is from newborns to 2 year olds every other Sunday.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Any kinds of arts and crafts, age appropriate of course. I really enjoy reading books to children, coloring, painting, getting down on the floor with them and playing with action figures or having tea parties! I also enjoy going outside and throwing any kind of ball around- my kids always enjoy monkey in the middle the most and guess who always has to be the monkey, lol. Anything outside is always the most enjoyed, even if its only blowing bubbles and chasing them all over the yard!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having healthy fun while also learning at the same time for the kiddos. And anytime I can give a loving and helping hand to a fellow mom (or dad) always warms my heart because I know how challenging parenting can be.
