A little bit about me

For 3 years I was a nanny for 2 girls, now 4 and 6, and after my son was born, now 2, I brought him with me. We are like family now! I currently work at a daycare as a behavior technician working with kids with autism. I love my job but due to childcare expenses outweighing my income I am looking for opportunities where I can work from home or bring him with me. I am willing to offer daycare in my home (or yours!) for one or multiple families (no more than 2-3 extra kids, age dependent). My preference would be in my home where I can create a daycare-like setting with structured activities and schedule. We would spend lots of time outside, going on field trips around Anchorage (zoo, pool, parks, library, etc - if permitted!) and doing fun learning art projects. I will apply my childcare knowledge to help your child(ren) develop social, emotional and cognitive skills while using an "aware parenting/childcare" approach.
