Hi there! My name is Cynthia, I am a student at CWU studying Elementary Special Education and am looking for a family to work for! Working with children and watching their little brains work hard to learn new things has always been a passion of mine! For the past seven years, I've had the joy of caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. Most recently, I was a Nanny for a family of 2 now toddlers for 3 years in which I did pick up/drop offs for school, day trips with the kiddos, ran errands, cooked meals, cleaned, did laundry, did overnights and more. My approach is patient, calm, and kind; I tend to use more redirection and discussions as opposed timeouts/punishments, of course I am happy to discuss and uphold household rules/expectations. I love to encourage playing outdoor games, board games, as well as activities that stimulate kiddos' brains to promote learning and developmental milestones! I also have First Aid Training and CPR Training and food handlers permit!
