"D’Angeleze was wonderful to have working here. I appreciated all he hard work and her work ethic. She was never late and always informed me of doctors appointments prior, she has made such an impact with us, I’m sad to see her go but happy to see her future continue to help others as well."

"D’Angeleze holds a special spot in my heart. She was available at the most inconvenient times for others but was still there for me. As a young mom I’ve had many struggles but also had moments where I wanted just mommy time alone and D’Angeleze was always there. Last minute date nights and other times when I had to work and go to school late she would dedicate her time to stay with my little one anytime i needed her too. My little guy loves her and at times would cry when it was time for her to go. She’s very compassionate and sweet!"

"She took care of my twins from the age of 2 until the age of 3 and they fell in love with her. She’s very attentive, caring, played with them, teached them things and kept them clean. They still call her and ask For her. She did an amazing job. Due to the COVID-19 I stood home with my kids but I will Definitely call her again if I need her service."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were raising my younger sister, babysitting for family, friends, and referrals, and providing childcare in different settings such as homes, parks, play centers, and my own home. I also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician with children on the autism spectrum, where I supported their social skills, daily living skills, and language development. In addition, through my work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in K–12 schools and early intervention, I have extensive experience engaging children in learning and developmental activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include reading books, arts and crafts, outdoor play, building with toys, and creating fun learning games. I also like helping with homework, exploring sensory play, and encouraging imaginative play such as pretend cooking or dress-up. I practice a lot of child-based play and milieu teaching, which comes from my background as a Speech-Language Pathologist, to naturally support children’s speech, language, and overall development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
understanding that it's not just a job, being a part of a child's everyday lives impacts them socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively, so nanny/babysitters need to make sure they are leaving positive experiences with the children. Babysitters are important to children because they become a part of the family and create memories that the child could remember forever.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently work with children on the spectrum who have behavioral difficulties and language delays. In my role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I help teach them different ways to communicate through signs, pointing, and gesturing. I promote language by modeling and repeating labels and sounds, and I use strategies that encourage patience, turn-taking, and waiting. I also focus on promoting social play and peer interaction instead of solitary play, supporting their communication and social development through child-based play and structured activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was working with a nonverbal child and seeing him start combining the signs I taught him to communicate his needs and wants. The first time he successfully signed something and realized I understood him, his face lit up with excitement. It was such a rewarding experience to see him gain confidence and feel understood, and it reminded me how powerful communication can be for children.
