I have been an in home nanny. I have done pickup and drop off. I have also accompanied children to the park, the movies, the mall, and different store settings.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy mentally activating activities such as reading, playing make believe, science experiments, scavenger hunts, etc. There are loads of indoor and outdoor games and pastimes that I participate in. The goal is keep the kids engaged and happy. I have loads of energy so it makes it easy to keep up with them and if I need to catch my breath, giving them solo time (or nap time for those who take naps) works for their enrichment as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Creating a comfortable environment for the family as a whole is most important to me. The children need to feel safe enough to come to me when they are upset while also viewing me as an gentle authority figure and the parents deserve to work with someone who makes them feel safe and heard and who they can trust around their children.

I have worked with developmental delays, children with emotional and behavioral disabilities, and sensory impairments.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favourite nanny moment is when a kid goes from crying when I arrive to curiosity or excitement. It's really sweet to recognize when they see me as a comfort instead of the person removing them from their comfort people (their parents.)
