"If you wish to contact me just ask Daedra for my information. Because I have never seen this website I am hesitant to list personal information.
To whom this may concern,
Daedra Rhode has been a very special part of our team. She not only is an amazing employee, but has become family as well. We are very saddened to lose her but eager for her to start a new journey. She can multi-task amazingly. She was in charge of all the cleaning, closing routine, and locking up the daycare. She helped manage over 100 kids daily with ease. She wrote daily logs for each child and kept the filing cabinets organized. She spoke individually with parents about their children’s day. She is very polite and compliant at all times. She has endless amounts of patience. She has awesome communication skills and is very professional. She was never late and always available for us. She is the ultimate team player. Anyone would be lucky to have her be a part of their team.

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I can’t count the amount of times I have watched my niece! She is as precious as the day is long. Also my cousins children. And some other family friends!(when I have the extra time and they could use date nights)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing art projects, legos, puzzles, bored games, I also love helping children learn and do schoolwork. Some outdoor things is simply going to the park, having back yard picnics, etc. you can’t go wrong with outdoors and little ones.
The most important part about being a nanny...
1)Realizing that even if that child doesn’t remember you years from now, as a nanny you play a giant role in their childhood development and they will never forget what you taught them. So teach them: compassionate, to share, that their emotions are valid, how to treat others, etc.
2) To be fully aware of how the child’s parents wishes to raise them. And topics (that if they come up) that parents are not okay with you discussing w/their kidos. (One time a child I nannied for asked me who god was, because it came up on the tv). I just told him I’m not sure you’ll have to ask mom when she gets home.
Above all! A persons(little or grown) time is valuable. Fill that child’s time with you with nothing but happy memories, good food, & compassion.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Kids are absolutely brutally honest (I love it)! Once when I was watching my niece, she asked me “why so many dots”, “where do they come from”, “do you have dots on your face because my mom has dots on her face”, “oh no will I get dots” (she was talking about my chin breakout/pimples) I replied in a giggle “some times people get them when they’re older. Don’t worry because your dad doesn’t have any so you may not get them”.
My 2nd story: At a daycare I use to work at this little boy never really played/talked to the other kids on his first day. Later, after morning classes, we went outside. He decided to sit alone. I then asked him if he wanted to talk, he shrugged. I asked if I could just sit w/him, he smiled. After a while he started asking me more questions about myself faster than I could answer. Then we started coloring with chalk and started a whole chalk collab w/ the other students. He was my BFF after that and made a lot of new friends.

I just graduated from the University of Washington with my K-6 teaching certification and an endorsement in special education. Before graduating, I was a para-educator for 2 years, working with pre-k, elementary, and middle schoolers. I also have a history of babysitting and am CPR certified! Hi! My name is Camille Baker. I have lived in the Boise area for the past 7 years and love all that Boise has to offer. I have four years of experience working as a babysitter and two years working as a summer nanny. Ages ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. I am a very fun, creative and responsible person who thinks fast and works well in any sort of situation. I have loved being around kids my entire life, and would love the opportunity to get to know your family! I am half way through my senior year of high school. Inside of school I play the cello in Boise Highs Chamber Orchestra and volunteer as a high school peer English tutor. Outside of school some of my favorite activities are skiing in the winter and hiking. No matter the time or day, situation or sticky issue, kids have some of the brightest minds that never fail to put a smile on my face, and I thrive to do the same for them! I am available Mon-Fri after 12pm, and any time on the weekends. I hope to hear from you soon!
