During my time as a stage manager part of my responsibilities included caring for children (age’s ranging from 9-13) some of which were special needs. I grew up around many special needs, or otherwise disabled people because my mother was an in home nurse.

My favorite memory of taking care of a child is definitely when a child audition for a dream role despite being extremely nervous. It’s a favorite of mine because I know was extremely proud of them for overcoming their fears and of myself for helping them.
