A little bit about me

Field Based Experience: For many years I've had so much experience interacting with children at my Mom's school who is a Special Education teacher (K-5) at P.S. 197 John B. Russwurm in Harlem, NY. I would come along with her into classrooms as an extra hand collaborating with the teacher's and para's helping students with their classwork while building connections. At the same time, I've been an observational learner while she worked with her students who were special needs. I would also babysit my cousins who were from ages 4 to 9 years old. Additional experience I have references back to my mother, she is also an Early Intervention Specialist! From my middle adolescent years up until now, I've always tagged along going to her ABA and SI cases observing how she works with her babies; here and there my Mom would let me get some hands on experience working with them as well!
