More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I starting working with children as a babysitter and mother’s helper as a teenager. I then transitioned into working in public schools as an after/before school caretaker, instructional assistant, and STEM instructor. I spent several years working as an environmental educator in national and municipal parks and public lands, botanical gardens, and museums. I have diverse experience in both traditional childcare and children’s education!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy spending time in nature with children exploring, walking/hiking, and recreating! I also enjoy gardening, cooking, playing pretend, singing/storytelling, and reading with kids. I am open to exploring new activities and tailoring activities to children’s interests and family values.
