I’ve grown up around kids since I was 11 years old and my sister was living with us at the time. My oldest sister I was living with then had two children and I would help with baths, meals, etc. I also have a brother named Jordan with Down Syndrome and Autism. One of my nieces was also diagnosed with Autism and both my brother and niece learned some sign language to assist with both of their partial deafness. My family also started looking after my grandfather with Parkinson’s disease so nothing is too much for me to handle at this point in terms of sticky hands and talkative souls because I thrive off of it!
