Child friendly yoga and mindfulness activities, board games, reading to them or hearing them read, building fairy houses or forts, going on walks, science experiments (mess free), asking about their interests, playing outside, watching documentaries, arts and crafts, and just following their heart and what it wants to do
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me as a nanny is making sure the kids feel comfortable being themselves around me. Silly, happy, excited, having a hard day, I want them to know I will support them through anything. It's also important to me that the parents feel comfortable leaving their children with me to be who they are, and know they're safe to do that. I do everything I can to build the trust between both me and the kids, and me and the parents
