A little bit about me

While I have never been paid to nanny, I am an aunt to 2 boys now in high school.Both of their parents traveled for their jobs and I would spend up to 5 days in a row with them, doing everything from changing diapers, feeding, bathing, transported to school and all activities.I currently have a part time job that is 100% flexible and would love to take care of kids part-time to subsidize my income as well as development meaningful relationships with both the parents and children.I am super active and always inspired to play, teach sports and create projects outside. I would also thrive on teaching them new skills and taking them outside the home for actives if permitted.I am very conscientious, reliable and would never make decisions without consulting the parents.Also I am a people pleaser (whether that is good or bad) and just like doing the right thing and not taking chances.My goal would be to please the parents and endear the children. Love pets and am vaccinated for COVID & flu.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was involved in a charity in Dallas called Circle of Love and I was in charge of taking 10-15 under privileged girls (ages 10-17) every Saturday to learn about golf. They were all "Tiger" crazy back when he was playing regularly. I also planned Christmas and birthday activities for them as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Everything! I love being very creative with kids and always coming up with new ideas on how to make things fun while learning whether it be food prep, outdoor games / sports, shopping, puzzles, hygiene, cleaning, pet care, reading, movies, art and on and on. I am athletic and love working with kids on that level as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As for me: I just love kids and seeing the world through their eyes. Communicating with them is always a highlight and I find myself craving it and treasuring it. As for the kids: I would hope the most important part would be trust, bonding, reliability, compassion and hopefully love. I feel that I have all those characteristics and live by the Golden Rule.
