A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Dana Liddiard, and I am a 19-year-old BYU student who is currently taking independent study and looking for a job! My hours are completely flexible, and I have a car. I have lots of experience with children, including a day camp I started and ran every summer for 5 years, entertaining the kids with crafts and games! I also have experience with overnight care. I love to cook and am comfortable in the kitchen. I have previous experience with tutoring kids and graduated high school with honors. I'm currently saving up money to help pay for my mission. I start my mission in December and will be serving in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Until then, my hours are completely free. I'm willing to negotiate pricing depending on your families situation! The most important part about being a nanny...

As a nanny, it is important to make sure the children are primarily safe and well taken care for. Apart from ensuring the safety of the kids, it is important to be their friend. I believe that having a strong relationship with the kids I work with helps to foster a healthy and positive dynamic. It is important for kids to feel as though their nanny's enjoy spending time with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of the day camp I ran is seeing and interacting with the children once it is over. It's so rewarding to have the girls be excited to see me again and express how much fun they had with me. Over the years I have created and maintained great relationships with many of the girls that attended the camp.
