A little bit about me

I worked in childcare for 15 years. I am a certified Child Development Lead Teacher. I have 6 children of my own they are all adults. I have worked in every age group I drove full length school buses to and from public school and field trips. I was an Assistant Director and a Director. If I changed centers the majority of my kids would come where I was the teacher. Took 4 teachers and 90 School Age children to Frontier City amusement park and White Water park once a week . I would get donations for our fall festival and silent auction and the money raised bought new supplies and toys for the center.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 6 children of my own I have 12 grandchildren, and I worked in Child development centers for 15 years. My favorite age group is School Age. But I love all ages I have worked with every age group been an Assistant Director and Director. I am aLead teacher I have my certification in Child Development Lead Teacher and have completed the extensive program of Milestones and development of ages 0-12 years . I was a substitute teacher for the handicapped high school kids for 2 months, also subbed for middle school kids and elementary school in Edmond Public schools. I'm just a big kid like to have fun but I'm very responsible. During summer and holidays I was in charge of 4 teachers and 90 School Age we went on field trips, We would go once a week to Frontier City amusement park and White Water park with all 90 children we had no bad behavior followed rules and regulations. We had fun!

I love all activities I want children to at least try something new and different everyday.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked as a sub for the highschool mentally challenged kids and they can go to school until they are 21 years old. I have worked with all ages and all kinds of developmental delays deaf speech issues, abused trauma children I have pretty much encountered almost everything .
