I’ve been a volunteer nanny at big family reunions. I often take care of 12 or more children during those times so I can handle almost any situation.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy dancing and singing with the kids. If they are outdoorsy like me, I like to play and run outside with them. I also love art and crafts and I’m always up to get creative.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think what matters most about being a nanny would be making sure that not only the kids have someone to watch them but also that they don’t feel like they’re alone after their parents are gone. For instance, if you have to take a work meeting or something, my job is to make sure that your child doesn’t feel abandoned, even if someone is there to watch them, Depending on how they do watch your child, they could feel like they’re just some job or something and I think it’s important as a nanny to make sure that no child ever feels like that ever.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve done some volunteer work with special-needs children, and while that didn’t require me to watch them I definitely have watched my special ’needs cousins in the past and I understand their way of thinking and where they’re coming from.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think my favorite nanny moment was when I was watching a child and we were watching simple songs on YouTube. He started singing the songs so I began singing along, he waited for me to finish and started laughing and cheering yay after I was done. We kept singing and laughing, it was just really funny and cute.
