I have experience caring for newborn infants to toddlers and preschool age children. Much of this experience has been done through family with younger siblings and also with nieces and distant relatives.
I am also currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Nashville State where I utilize the curriculum and apply the skill sets I've learned to the children in my care.

I enjoy interactive hands-on play with children, giving them the freedom to direct how we play while maintaining a safe environment. I like to ask open ended questions that expand their imaginations and lead to creative thinking. This would include activities like indoor playing with crafts, blocks, dramatic play and dress up, or storytelling. I am a huge advocate for outdoor playing and love to engage children’s connections to nature in a fun and informational way.
