Hello! My name is Daniela, I’m 24 years old and pursuing my education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I’m originally from Mexico but have grown up in Las Vegas. I have professionally nanny’d for a wonderful family for over a three years, responsible for 3 beautiful little kids. It was a wonderful first experience and I’m very grateful to have learned so much and have developed a lovely bond with said family.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Cared for a family for three years, where I was responsible for 3 children, at times 4 (half-sibling). Now aged 6, 8, 9, 11. Cared for children for shifts that stretched 9-13 hours, 4 days in a row, meaning I was responsible for the entire child care and safety. Responsible for school work, school pick up / drop off. Meal prep, activities, mental stimulation. Tutoring. Cleaning, laundry.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy exploring and playing in nature, as well as playing games of all sorts, from physical activity games like jumping rope, playing tag, or dancing, to calmer ones like dolls or house. I love art, and I think arts & crafts are a great way for kids to engage their motor skills as well as let their creativity free. As long as the child feels comfortable and happy, I love engaging in any activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most import part about being a nanny is being able to treat the child like they’re your own, without overstepping any boundaries of course. As a nanny, you’re with kids at times their parents can’t be, so it’s important to make them feel valued, cared for, and have them trust you. They should always feel protected, heard and loved.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I view my nieces as my own, and I’m so proud to have been able to gain their purest trust. They’ll often come up to me and vent about any problems they’re having, or they just come up to spend time with me, which makes my heart so soft. Whenever the youngest one sees me, she runs up to me screaming my name, and it’s something I can’t get tired of.
