More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a lot of hands-on experience working with kids. I spent about a year and a half working at a daycare, where I cared for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I helped with everything from feedings and diaper changes to naps, activities, and keeping the classroom clean and organized. I really enjoyed helping the kids learn and supporting their development in a safe, nurturing environment.
On top of that, I’ve been babysitting for friends and family for about three years. I’ve cared for children of all ages, including babies and older kids, and I’ve handled things like meals, homework, bedtime routines, and fun activities. These experiences have helped me become patient, reliable, and confident in caring for different age groups and personalities.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Honestly, the most important part of being a nanny is keeping the child safe that’s always the top priority. But it’s also about building trust with the family so they feel comfortable leaving their child with you. Kids need someone who’s patient, caring, and willing to really connect with them.
It’s important to understand what children need at different ages and to create fun, engaging activities that help them learn and stay entertained. A nanny also has to support the child’s daily routine things like meals, naps, homework, or bedtime so their day goes smoothly.
Communication with the parents is huge, too. Keeping them updated and working together makes everything easier. And honestly, being reliable, responsible, and a good role model goes a long way. Kids watch everything, so how you act really matters.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little girl I watched finally learned to tie her shoes. We had been practicing every day, and she would get frustrated at first. But one afternoon, she suddenly did it all on her own and her whole face lit up. She ran over to me yelling, “Daniella, I did it!” and gave me the biggest hug.
