I was a volunteer camp counselor at VBS for four years, I will occasionally watch my mom’s boss’ child, and I have two cousins who are much younger that I babysit for my Aunt.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Finger-painting, fashion shows, video games, hide & go seek, swimming, dolls, baking treats, reading, and making crafts.
My experience with special needs children...
My young cousins are struggle with ADHD and have learning disabilities that force them to struggle almost everyday, I’ve learned to be slow and patient with them as they don’t always know how express their feelings. I wish I could say I had more experience with special needs children but unfortunately I do not. I am however really open to learning and adapt very quickly to situations on hand if you are open to teaching!

I always had this passion to help people and I was always patient with my brother who is three years younger than me because he has adhd and could never focus, and I was also always the kid to help a student out when needed, so I applied to Sacred Heart University to become an Occupational Therapist, soon realizing that Early Childhood Education is more for me. I do have a car and drivers license in case of any errands or other things that need to be done.
