When it comes to caring for another person's tiny human, as a mom and grandma myself, I would expect a more detailed description before even considering a click on someone's profile. I have medical and educational experience. I was a medical assistant, turned preschool teacher. I kept up with medical training as a volunteer ambulance EMT in training, before my back decided I couldn't maneuver those old gurney's. An early forced medical retirement turned me towards private duty childcare, homeschool teaching, and in home eldercare. I haven't had any problems in our small community producing references. I am often tagged in Facebook posts, by families I've worked with, on posts seeking a provider. I also work with low income families and often offer more affordable rates than what this site would let me put as a bottom dollar rate.
