Hello! My name is Danielle, I’m a career nanny of almost 10 years and a mother to one sweet little girl. I am a certified professional nanny through the U.S. nanny institute. I have schooling in ECE and a degree in psychology, I’m first aid and cpr certified, comfortable with pets in the home and willing to prepare meals and do child related chores/cleaning. I am looking for a family who would allow me to bring my daughter with me, she will be 3 in August. She has come with me to my last two positions and it’s been an amazing experience! "Can I just say how INCREDIBLE Danielle is? I had zero experience with finding a caregiver on this website, but when I came across Danielle, I knew it was meant to be. My husband and I were new to the area and had no friends or family near us, but 3 kids - all of different age groups. We were struggling to find someone who could watch all 3, effectively, and could work with our schedules. Not only did my two oldest absolutely love her, but I have a baby (now toddler!) who was the same age as Danielle’s little one. So when Danielle brought her with her, I was ecstatic! The babies were enamored with each other, they became best friends, it was so sweet. I never once had an issue with Danielle! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently taking courses offered by the US nanny institute to further my professional knowledge to ensure I’m up to date on all current information and able to provide the best care I can. I studied ECE and some child psychology in college, aside from my normal nanny positions I have also worked with families for back up care, date nights, and weekend babysitting. Growing up I helped a ton with my younger siblings and was very involved with helping raise my nieces and nephews. I’ve assisted in an in-home daycare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Getting a outdoors is a must, I love doing crafts with kids, creating fun games and activities to nurture educational growth, building forts and obstacle courses, baking, simple age appropriate science experiments, drawing/painting/coloring, fostering imaginative play, gardening, scavenger hunts, sensory activities, I love encouraging the kids existing interests

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me it’s being an extension of the parents, providing the same level of care and love while in charge. Fostering growth, imagination and creativity in children while providing them with skills that they will use throughout their lives.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I took a boy I nannied to the zoo and we went into the gift shop, that sweet 4 year old face looked up at me and handed me a pink dolphin necklace and told me he wanted to buy it for me with MY money. I still cherish that necklace and the funny moment years later. I can go on for hours about favorite moments with all of the children I have cared for though.
