I love to do arts and crafts with the kids as well as any games that are educational and at their age level. I was a teacher, so I enjoy doing educational activities and also helping with homework as well if need be.

is making sure the kids are happy and safe and making sure u meet the parents needs and do as they ask. Remember your walking into their home with their routines you must acclimate to their routines and what they like or don't like in their home and with their children. Everyone and every household are different. It's all about respect as well.
My experience with special needs children...
i have worked with all ages of special needs children and various disabilities for instance when i was in high school I was the assistant teacher in the 14–21-year-old down syndrome classroom that's where i began my journey, i then worked at DDI with newborn to 6-year old's with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and many more. I also worked for FREE with the older children and adults ages 16 to 100.
The most important part about being a nanny...
You know you're doing an amazing job when the kids cry that they don't want you to leave. I love all kids as if they were my own and think about how I would want my son and daughter treated and cared for.
