Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in fun, creative, and enriching activities that support their development and bring joy to their day. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include reading books together, making arts and crafts, playing indoor or outdoor games, and going on nature walks or park outings. I also enjoy encouraging imaginative play, building with blocks or Legos, and doing simple science or sensory activities based on the child’s age and interests.
For younger children, I enjoy singing songs, doing fingerplays, tummy time, and working on fine motor skills through playful activities. With older kids, I like supporting their learning through homework help, educational games, and encouraging open conversations to build confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have watched two girls (ages 4 & 5) since they were approximately 6 moths old. When I picked them up on a random weekday, they told me that it was not a good day at daycare. We talked on why the day was so rough for the both of them and I felt that they needed a "pick me up." Before dropping the girls off at home we decided to have a ICE CREAM DATE!!!! It was so wholesome that their little worries in life can be solved by a little ice cream! Later on that night I got a text from their father, telling me that, at bedtime the girls talked about their day and said that it was the best day ever, "just because Day took us to get some ice cream when we were sad." That is my favorite nanny moment because something so little means so much to them.
