A little bit about me

Hello, I am a 26 year old mother of one. I have babysat children on and off throughout my entire life, as most kids seem to just love me. The three kids I have the most experience with, I took care of often as both their parents worked. They were great kids and the parents were amazing. I would still be helping them out if I hadn't had to move. I have been through certified parenting courses. I also have a lot of experience with childhood development and behavior. I love reading and can do housework. If you need help with anything, really, let me know! Always willing to lend a hand where I can.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done volunteer work at my old church in Louisville, KY taking care of the wonderful kiddos there in the nursery and occasionally Bible Study.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading! Writing! Drawing, learning. I love doing creative, fun things and learning a lesson from it! :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making an impact in a child's life. Treating them with respect. And keeping them clean, safe, and happy. Whether it be kickstarting a creative passion or helping with something they're struggling with, it's important to always try to get their minds working.

My experience with special needs children...

My son, 2, has autism. I have done a lot of research and am actually working with a speech therapist to learn how to work with him at the moment!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I set up a 'class time' for the three kiddos I used to take care of regularly. For one hour every day I would help them with reading and homework and I had a reward system set in place. An hour of class, and an hour of whatever the kids wanted to do, or a special snack. It was my favorite moment of the day.
