A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Debora.😊
I’m originally from Brazil and have been living in the US for the past 9 years.
I have a kind 9 year old daughter, and a caring energetic 7 year old son which are my most precious gifts.
In 2009 I started my journey with kids and child development in Brazil, I had kids from multiples age groups, but started with kindergarten.
When I first moved to The US, I got my first job as a nanny caring for a 9 month old boy from Coronado for a few months, until I found out I was pregnant. After becoming a mother I was out of the work field until 2022 where I was hired at a charter school as a teachers aide. In June 2024 I decided the classroom wasn’t for me anymore, although my passion for caring never ceases.
I enjoy working with kids and I’m a very caring mom, teacher and friend. I have bonded with kids from different age groups, and for me being around kids is more than just a job, its about making them feel safe, seen and make a difference in their lives. ♥️

Started teaching english at bilingual schools in Brazil.
In 2009 I had my first class pre K class, as well as a 3 grade class.After that I helped with multiple ages groups varying from Pre-k all the way up to 8th graders. I really enjoy every age group as they all have different interests and personalities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m a very silly person. I love to sing, dance play games with my kids and joke around. I enjoy going out for walks with a stroller or just walking to the park. I also enjoy arts and crafts and playing with animals.
We are a nature loving family and I try to do hiking with my kids as much as I can.
I enjoy going to the zoo and theme parks. I’m open to any recommendations the parents would have for the activities desired.

Love and care. Being vulnerable, patient and understanding. Treating every kid like its your own.

I keep all the letters, drawings and gifts I got over the years from my kids. I miss their smiles and all of them all dearly.
I have too much memories to be accounted. But I can definitely tell some stories in person. 😊
