A little bit about me

I'm a mother of two grown sons and a grandmother to a 10 month old grandson that was a premie. I have always loved taking care of small children. My first job was babysitting for our friends. Later, I worked in a the training Center at the Seminary Daycare in Fort Worth. Then I taught Middle School. I went on to work in the professional world for most of my career. Currently I am assisting seniors in their home and would like to switch to infants or babies. I will be happy to assist with light housekeeping and meal assist as the time allows. However, I want to be in a home that wants my main focus would to be on the child. I believe each child deserves one on one attention and I do not believe you can spoil a baby with too much of it.
I am allergic to cats and cannot be in a home with indoor cats. I love dogs as long as they are not intimidating and are not going to perceive me as a threat to their little human.
