Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Metro schools in Nashville Tennessee: l worked as an aid to different teachers, help the children to complete their assignment, worked one on one with each person. In high school I worked as a special education secretary and part of my duties were to take over classes when teachers has to step out of the room, come in later, leave early or not come in at all. If they couldn't have found a substitute for the class I would have to take over.

My experience with special needs children...
One and a half years of elementary,middle school, high school students. Thirty-nine
years with my niece and daughter. With my daughter and three open heart surgeries, I had to dress her wounds, she could not go out to play because her resistance was low so she couldn't go around many places or people. At 20 working at Daycare she got measles from one o the children, next at 21 she went blind, Doctors not knowing that she had Progressive Multiple Sclerosis it took so long before they knew she had MS it took her sight and by the time they figured it out she was in a wheelchair. I had to give her, her medicine, bath her dress her, give injections, and she also became a diabetic. So I have been a care giver for about half my life and a mother for only 41 years.
