One rainy day we stayed in watching education shows (Discovery Channel) and I was in the same room entering my hours on the computer for the agency I was working for. The Autistic child I was supporting took a interest in the computer. She enjoyed doing puzzles at the time so I had found a relevant site to click and drag puzzles. Hand over hand I showed her how to connect the pieces on the screen. We started out slow with puzzles with minimum pieces and graduated towards the end of the afternoon. My favorite moment was when her father came home and witnessed his daughter at the computer for the first time working independently, calling his wife and telling to "come home quick" with such a smile on his face.
