Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've been baysitting since I was able to talk, being an older sibling, it kind of comes with the job. But I have also nannied for around 6 months, worked in school settings with younger children, and worked at a child care facility specializing in troubled children!

I love watching movies, doing fun and creative crafts, reading, and of course, playing outside.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny for me is making sure that every child feels safe and listened to while in my care. I'm not their parents, I don't ever intend to be, and that can make having another person care for them a little daunting. My job as a nanny is to make them feel as safe and comfortable as they would around their parents so they can still have the freedom to be a kid, even when their parents are away.

My experience with special needs children...

The facility I worked at specialized in troubled children with behavioral issues (ADHD, ADD, ODD). But any other special needs I would be more than willing to take on with absolute patience and care if it is within my ability!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment has to be when the little boy I was watching challenged me to a Minecraft battle...And he won! He was so excited and happy to have beaten me, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face for days.
