A little bit about me

My name is Deona Thornton and I would like to express my interest in becoming a child care provider as I believe I am the perfect candidate and would love an opportunity to show you!

I am very passionate about children! I have hands-on experience caring for children as young as 4 weeks up to 13 years old, including those that have special needs.

My goal is to care for children in a daycare setting while providing them with an environment conducive to growing and learning to their full capacity. My previous formal and informal experience has prepared me well for this role.

I am a self-starter and I’m extremely patient. I have great communication skills and I most importantly my first priority is the safety and well-being of the children. In addition to those skills I also have creative problem solving skills. In my previous positions I created and implemented recreational and educational activities for the children.
