A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Desiree! I am a mother of 3 wonderful kids. My son is 27 and married and I have my 3 precious grandchildren that are now 8, 4 and 6 months. My twins are 23 and one is in school and the other one is engaged, works and has my other gdtr that is now 3 years old & twins on the way! I am married. My husband is a contractor and works all over the state. I have a 23 year medical background working with infants all the way to adults. I am CPR and First Aid certified as well as a RBT which just means I’ve worked with kiddos that are on the autism spectrum/or have any other behavioral concerns. I have been with several families from 1 year to 5 years FT, PT and PRN. I am looking for a new family that I can hopefully help with all your childcare/household needs. I do love being active indoors/outdoors as our weather permits 😊 I am available for PT/FT/ and as needed. I can also provide excellent references. Feel free to ask me any questions! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked i. Healthcare for over 20 years including working in the Family Birth Center as well Mary Bridge Children’s hospital, general pediatric floors and way back I have worked in daycares as well as ECAEP/pre-school teaching. Early Childhood Education. Some sign language. Working with Autistic and behavioral challenges kiddos.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Cooking, baking, art, sports as well as going for walks, parks and sometimes special trips to the zoo etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

. Teaching the basics that can really go a long way such as; manners, respect, kindness, empathy/sympathy and just being an all around good human. 😊 Having fun within reason. Helping our youth at the most important time of their life. Helping them by providing a safe a loving environment as well as teaching them the tools they will need to become successful.

I have worked with Autistic kiddos . I’ve worked with children with all types of needs. Allergies, behavioral issues etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

So many wonderful moments over the last 5 years it would honestly be extremely difficult for me to pick just one. A lot of lovely moments from teaching them to walk and talk, to cheering them on at sporting events to helping them with a school project.
