When I worked for The YMCA of Greater Montgomery, I loved working back in child-watch. Playing and learning with the kids while their parents got a nice workout!

I enjoy walking the children to near by safe parks to have playtime. Also, after discussing with parents, the children and I would watch educational entertainment. I will sometimes include constructive educational time. However, I still just plain enjoying having fun, since you can always find ways to make learning exciting and rewarding!

The important part of being a nanny is making sure all children are safe, fed, and always enjoying themselves all in a very respectful way. While always making sure the parents minds and hearts are at ease knowing that their precious children are in great, caring hands.

I have have been a nanny for a 3 year old with down syndrome and I have even assisted my grandmother with caring for premature infants.
