I also volunteered with The 2nd & 7 Foundation, where I read to elementary-aged children and encouraged literacy and confidence through storytelling. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is helping them with their homework and seeing them understand something they were struggling with. I also enjoy making snacks for them and creating a fun, relaxed environment where we can joke around and build a positive connection. I love being someone they feel comfortable learning and laughing with.
