I worked at the Southwest Boys & Girls Club, where I helped supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring they were safe, supported, and actively involved. In addition, I have volunteered with CREC Head Start, assisting with babies and toddlers and helping create a nurturing and structured environment. I also volunteered with The 2nd & 7 Foundation, where I read to elementary-aged children and encouraged literacy and confidence through storytelling. One of my favorite parts of working with kids is helping them with their homework and seeing them understand something they were struggling with. I also enjoy making snacks for them and creating a fun, relaxed environment where we can joke around and build a positive connection. I love being someone they feel comfortable learning and laughing with.
