A little bit about me

Children have always been my passion. As long as I can remember, I have always loved holding babies, pushing toddlers on the swing, and encouraging school-age children while helping them with homework. As the oldest of 7 siblings, I have been watching children since I was 10. I also did babysitting jobs for my parents friends. I became a full-time nanny to twin 8-year-old girls right after high school graduation. I made sure their responsibilities were taken care of, but also that they had fun. Over the summer, we did make sure school was incorporated to keep their little minds fresh. I would print off worksheets for their core classes, and have them complete those. I also had a sticker chart, and would make games out of their spelling words so they could earn stickers. We did crafts, such as slime, rock candy, and finger painting. I also took them to the park and to the local splash pad. I currently watch a 3 year old in the afternoons and a 5 year old overnight both at my house.
