I’m 18 years old and I’m very responsible and generous and I really care about others honestly before myself. That includes everyone not just family. I’m very hard working and have a great work ethic. I used to have to watch my brother when he was two years old when I was 14/15 for 13 hours a day when my step mom went to work. I love kids even though sometimes they might be a hassle because at the end of the day they have the most innocent face when they smile, laugh, having fun and going to sleep.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have never been a nanny, however when my little brother was 2 years old and I was 13/14 I went to Kansas with my step mom and she worked so I had to take care of him every day for 13 hours a day meaning that I had to feed him 3 meals a day, had to give him snacks , a nap was definitely necessary for a two year old. I took him to the park which was walking distance from the house and played. I always played with him and even sometimes we just chilled out and watched a movie that he liked.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going to the park, watching movies, playing board or card games, if they like barbies or any type of toy I will try to play with them, I like snack times too, we could play tag or hide and seek which is indoor and outdoor. My mind honestly just comes up with fun ideas as I go about my day. I also like to plan days of fun, but that would have to be after I met everyone to see and know what they like to do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny even though I have not yet been one is keeping the children safe, keeping and eye and heart out for them all the time, keep the well fed and bathed, and if they are younger then they might need a nap to be able to get through the rest of the day happy and playing.

My experience with special needs children...

My cousin has Down syndrome, she’s older than me, but I still came over to get in the pool with her and play in her room with her coloring and all kinds of stuff.
