Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience working with young children through my previous positions in childcare. While living in Charlotte, I worked at a daycare caring for 2-year-olds, where I gained valuable experience supporting their daily routines, encouraging learning through play, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. I also worked in a church nursery, caring for children while their parents attended services. These experiences strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to provide attentive, dependable care for children of different ages. I hold a North Carolina Child Care Qualification Letter confirming my eligibility to provide child care services in a licensed child care facility in accordance with the North Carolina Child Care Act. I am also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR through the American Heart Association, demonstrating my commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy planning fun, engaging activities that match each child’s interests and developmental stage. Some of my favorite activities include painting, reading books, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, such as drawing with sidewalk chalk. I also enjoy simple, child-friendly baking activities and incorporating educational games and hands-on learning into our day. My goal is to create a safe, creative, and enriching environment where children can learn, explore, and have fun.

An important part of being a nanny, to me, is supporting the family in the best way I can while creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for their child. I want both the children and their parents to feel comfortable, supported, and confident in my care. Building trust, maintaining open communication, and being a dependable part of the family’s daily routine are priorities for me.

While I don’t have professional experience caring for children with special needs, I am open to learning and expanding my skills. The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories from working at the daycare was watching the children become more confident and begin expressing their unique personalities. It was incredibly rewarding to see them grow, build friendships with their classmates, and reach new developmental milestones. Being able to support and encourage that growth was one of the most fulfilling parts of my experience in childcare.
