I am a former foster parent for therapeutic foster children (special needs children) plus I worked in daycare (various ages from 6 week old to 12 year olds) for 12+ years. I am experienced with special needs children as well, including developmental delays, ADD and ADHA, autism, and cerebral palsy. I have had several nanny positions, and remain in contact with some of the families and the children as an “honorary aunt” as they wanted me to remain in the children’s lives after my nanny position ended.
