Being the family nanny and on call babysitter has taught me a lot when it comes to making sure kids are comfortable and safe when in my care. I want to take this passion for taking care of kids and my love for art and help kids develop a love for art as well, I feel that COVID has taken a lot away from kids and their developmental process so I would want to do creative projects to help them explore more about art
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children… started out with me working at my previous high school which had a program for special needs children that included high functioning children on the spectrum. I was able to put my love for art into their daily activities and help them paint, draw, and express their creative side! I now will be working part time as a ABA technician working with children.
