I have been a nanny for 32 years. I have excellent references and experience with children of all ages. I have always babysat or been around children it seems in some way or another since I was a teenager. I have done house management along with child care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to take children on outings. Parents approval of course to the library and parks. I also enjoy being creative with children and letting them use their imagination by painting, drawing, making up fun games and story telling.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Any time spent laughing and having fun is a great nanny moment. I have had so many moments over my 30 years of child care. It is hard to pick just one.
Actually a few times upon meeting a child and the parents telling them they are very quiet and take a while to warm up to a new person. Within minutes the child is either in my lap or showing me all their toys. Those are pretty great moments.
