My experience with special needs children weren't that bad, I've handled situations calmly. I've taken care of one which was my cousin and my experience with him was chaotic but in the end I know I put my all into helping him with anything he needed like homework, reading especially and learning a language that I'm fluent in which is Spanish :).
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when my cousin not wanting to leave and wanting to stay to learn the activities I was teaching him. It just made me happy knowing he's having fun and that learning isn't boring.
