A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Dominique, 31 years old, originally from Brazil and raised between Brazil and Japan. I’ve lived in the U.S. for 7 years and have 9+ years of childcare experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and children up to 10 years old. I speak English and Portuguese fluently, intermediate Japanese, and basic Spanish.

I started my U.S. childcare journey as an au pair with a wonderful family for two years, caring for a 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. Since the family had lived in Japan, I also spoke Japanese with the children. I prepared meals, drove them to school and activities, planned fun and educational activities, playdates, parks, the zoo, and even Disneyland. They became like a second family.
