The most important part of being a nanny is making the children feel safe, seen, loved and understood. Working with special needs has taught me the so much, it is one of the most rewarding things I have. experienced. Making a difference as little as it could be is one of the best feelings in the world. Seeing those little faces light up has no price.

I have had the pleasure of working with special needs for more than 7 years, worked plenty with kids with autism and verbal and non verbal. It has been one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever done. Making the smallest difference means everything.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment or at least one of them was when a little girl ran towards towards me with the biggest smile ever to hug me. You could tell that mom was kinda in a little shock. Once mom reached us she said to me " I am going to be honest I got a little jealous at first, but seeing what joy she gets as soon as she sees you means the world to me"
