While living in Connecticut I operated my own day care center for several years. Since moving to RI in 2019 I have been a nanny for infants, toddlers, preschool/grammar school children including children who have special needs.

Interacting with children of all ages is so rewarding and fun. I keep in mind that all around development of the child/children is very important and I incorporate the age appropriate skills into their playtime..…such as reading, physical activities, motor skills, creativity whether it’s indoor or outdoor activities.

My experience with special needs children...
I have been trained by Registered nurses to feed infant through teen years children who are fed through ports. I also follow through on exercises and instructions set up by the child’s OT PT therapists and Registered Nurses. I believe patience, compassion and overall nurturing are very important when working with these beautiful children.
