Hi, I'm Dylan! I have cared for young children since I was in high school and I even have an 18 month old of my own! I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with honors. I will be continuing my schooling online so I now have an open schedule! I have a developed since of patience, respect, and admiration for children and my main goal in life is to raise kind humans. I have been married for three years and my husband and I recently purchased a house of our own - so I know plenty about house keeping! I have always been a tidy person, and cleaning is far from my least favorite activity. I don't even hate laundry! I am the type to clean your house for fun while your children sleep. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My son's favorite thing to do is go for walks! We live right by a park so we go probably about every other day depending on the weather. I love arranging water days during the summer as well! Nothing like a good ole' sprinkler in the yard!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Respecting children and treating them as their own person is the most important part of childcare. Adults tend to brush off children's feelings and big emotions just because they are kids. I like to make each child I come into contact with feel heard, seen, safe, and respected.

My experience with special needs children...

My younger brother was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder when he was three years old. Since then, I have been by my mother's side while she learns what works best for children with special needs. I feel confident in my ability to remain calm when my brother experiences hard times.
