I do have a little sister with autism I used to regularly care for. I also have babysat other special needs children but not for long periods of time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The seven year old girl I used to babysit had a broken foot that was casted, so she couldn't move around that much so we made houses and roads out of construction paper houses for her to play with. It was a very rewarding moment for her to build it and then get to play with it.
