A little bit about me

I’m a 48-year-old Brazilian woman living in the U.S. for one year, following my husband’s job transfer. I’m married and a mother of two (ages 17 and 11). I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a postgraduate specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both from Brazil.

I worked as a psychologist in Brazil for over 15 years, supporting children, teens, and families in emotional and behavioral development. I truly enjoy being around kids and have a calm, responsible, and caring approach. My background helps me understand children’s needs and provide attentive, meaningful care.

I’m also comfortable with household routines, cooking, and helping with homework and fun activities.

Currently, I’m learning English (intermediate level) and see this opportunity as a way to contribute with my experience while practicing the language in a natural setting.
