Currently I have worked with 5 children who are on the spectrum. I also have a cousin who I helped watch a lot growing up who is also on the spectrum. I have gotten to work with 2 children who have speech impediments. I have also worked with 2 children who have ADHD/ADD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when my preschool kids has to be when one of my preschoolers was having a rough day finding his listening ears and being nice to their friends. No matter what I said they were determined to do their own thing. But when it came time for pickup they ran up to me gave me the biggest hug and said “Ms. Elaina I promise I’m gonna be so good I’m tomorrow and I’ll bring my listening ears!”
