A little bit about me

i'm 20 years old i'm currently a student and planning on graduating a little before summer. the only times I wouldn't be available is the weekends (fri-sun) because that's when I have class. I have the week off (mon-thur)and available anytime through out the day. I used to be a housekeeper so I can do light housekeeping where it needs to be done. I've worked with all kinds of children, kids, and even teenagers. I was the oldest growing up so I watched and raised all my cousins, neighbors kids, and had a few babysitting jobs. I have my license and my own car and I've had no accidents and I know to strap in a carseat. I'm like a mother without kids honestly.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was in an early human development academy where they taught us how to care for children and brought children to us to care for. I've had babysitting jobs before (few hours & overnight jobs)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to take the kids to the park or the river so they can run around lose some energy. Cruising around to just get out the house. On nights in I really like going to the grocery store and letting the kids pick out of stuff and we'll make some dinner and dessert then have a little moving night.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me is understanding the kids. I'm there for the them and its my job to make sure they have someone they trust and like. I try to bond with them in a way I feel the they'll understand and appreciate.

My experience with special needs children...

I was in a program where I worked with special needs kids, we'd go to their school and be their Aid for the day. I helped with their everyday routine.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I spent the whole summer caring for this little girl, I mean I woke her up and put her to bed. I watched her so much that I just started bringing her with me everywhere to do my own things and even to watch other kids. we grew really close. Her family ended up moving and she made me this friendship bracelet and called me her best friend. it was sweetest thing and I'll never forget it.
