I worked in a daycare for about two years taking care of children ages 2 months- 5 years. I have also Nannied for two different families, as well as currently working in a school helping with an after school program, working with ages 6-11.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part to me is helping and being patient. Every child is different so the needs maybe different. Wether it’s helping them learn new skills, speak, or with homework being able to help them while staying patient is very important to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I regularly babysit a child with special needs. It can be challenging sometimes but figuring out the cues and triggers come along with time and patience. I’ve babysat her for 2 years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child learn how to walk. The excitement and joy of that day was so special. As well as being able to share that moment with a family.
