Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a Youth Mentor Specialist for the kids at Boys and Girls Club and planned activities for them each day ranging from field trips to schoolwork to learning something new, etc. I volunteered for 3 months in Thailand, teaching kids english.
I have many little siblings and cousins that I babysit and love to spend time with. Ever since age 12, I have babysat for numerous families and for kids ages 0-10 years old.
I have tutored many kids as well in math, reading, and writing.
I volunteered at primary children's hospital to play my flute for the children there.
I was a coach for a summer youth track club held at Stansbury High School.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny means truly nurturing and caring for the children. It is crucial to build a strong relationship with the kids and show them they are loved and cared for. I love to see the growth in kids and help them try new things and reach new limits. And, of course I love having fun with the kids, being imaginative, playing with them, and making them laugh and smile.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love seeing kids try new things or be creative. One of my favorite times was when we were making cards for people and one of the more quite and timid boys decided to spend so much time writing a nice letter for his mom and he was so creative and I got to see a side of him I hadn't seen before.
